Even though President Obama declared a state of emergency in South Carolina and ordered federal aid to supplement state and local response efforts. Brothers from several chapters throughout South Carolina came together in unity to uplift the community following the residual effects of Hurricane Joaquin. Though, several members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated were directly affected by the floods that didn’t stop them from coming out and supporting the “Boots on the Initiative” on October 14, 2015 (5pm). Brothers united to give back by feeding the community and passing out cases of water at Lorick Park Community Center. There was a live DJ onsite from FM100.1 the Beat.
