Biography
Cedric holds the Master of Information Technology (Security) degree from American Intercontinental University to which he completed in June 2003. Cedric has more than 22 years of Information technology with experience in management and field services. Cedric has worked for 25 years for a diverse range of organizations, including General Dynamics, Amtrak, Coca Cola North America, Coca Cola Enterprises, T-Mobile, Ryla Teleservices and the United States Navy.
As Operations Manager while at General Dynamics, Cedric managed a team of 18 supervisors and 379 VA Service desk agents. Cedric’s program provided IT services and support to the Veterans Administration of the United States of America. Cedric assists the Veterans Administration (VA) in resolving information technology problems and Information Technology request, such as password resets for all major VA systems; troubleshooting for mainframe issues that may arise for a specific user or the entire enterprise. In addition, Cedric’s team escalates major outages to Incident Management and assists in working to resolve issues. Cedric’s Team exceeded all SLA requirements for the VA and ensured that the VA’s expectations for its IT call center were meet daily.
Passionate about education and mentoring others, Cedric provides Mentoring and Information Technology services that help Individual consumers and small to major Corporations. In his free time, Cedric contributes his services to NWLA Makerspace, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, shared community workshop located in Shreveport, Louisiana. NWLA Makerspace works to provide tools and classes to members and everyone that is interested in learning about science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. NWLA Makerspace offers workshops for community members, teachers, and provides workforce development for those interested in learning about STEM careers.
