Children danced and sang during the Mother’s Day celebration.
St. Matthew missionary Baptist church pastor Calvin Hastie Sr. says they wanted to celebrate the hard work moms do every day.
“Mothers play such an important role,” Hastie Sr. Said. “I tell the parents every Sunday, if the mothers don’t get the children to the church, they can’t come. None of that would be possible if the mothers weren’t able to get the children to rehearsal.”
