Members of the Gamma Iota chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. participated in Teacher Appreciation Day at Bates Middle School. The "Rock Solid Ques" once again demonstrated their commitment to serving the Sumter community. Members Alvin Lumpkin, Cedric Johnson, John Williams, Jeffery Thomas, Jerry Washington, and Mike Davis provided valuable assistance by preparing lunch for all teachers in attendance. The menu featured hamburgers with all the trimmings, hotdogs, pasta salad, assorted drinks, and dessert. The brothers spent the morning cooking and engaging in fellowship. The event concluded with the lunch service and closing remarks, highlighting the fraternity's ongoing dedication until they are next called upon to serve.
